It is 5 minute walk to the beach, restaurants, shopping, super markets, and the bus stop.Even though everything is close, it is it’s own private oasis with huge old growth protected tree’s that attracts all kinds of wildlife like the Monkeys, sloths, scarlet macaws, toucans, pizotes, as well as many other birds and animals have visited the property which also a highlight for many guests. There is also a tropical fruit garden with many types of fruits and a river that runs to the beach that is also visited by a local crocodile!
This eco-lodge consists of decks and doors made of recycled plastic bottles. There is a rain catching system to collect rain water for use and a water recycling system used for irrigation. The structures itself are of shipping containers with huge spaces on the top level for loundging, a comfortable size yoga studio, and a cool comfortable place to relax, feel the ocean breeze and listed to the waves crashing on the beach. Also, a lot of the power comes from solar panels, which is good for the environment, but also keeps the power bill down.
