This is truly a one of a kind property in Costa Rica. The property is located just outside the touristic town of Uvita and has access to the highway. It is one of the only properties in the area with its own private beach access to the secluded national park beach: Ballena Beach.

This property is made up from two separate lots.

Lot #1 at 4416m2 is fully titled and has public road access.
Lot #2 at 6402m2 is adjacent to lot#1, is concession land and offers access to the beach.

There is a quaint little bridge through the mangrove which leads you straight onto the very secluded Ballena Beach. From Ballena beach you get a stunning view of Isla Ballena and the Tres Hermanas Islands a few hundred meters offshore. Between these islands, it is common to see Humpback whales swimming with their calves in the calm, protected waters. On most days you will not see any people on this part of the beach because it is hard to access for the public.

The home that is on the property is a 3 bedroom, 1 bathroom home built with natural materials to resemble the nature of Uvita. Next to the home is a small Rancho which is currently being used as a bodega. On the other side of the home you will find your own private well.

This property offers the best of both worlds! If you are looking for jungle vibes next to the beach, this is the place! It offers great commercial as well as residential possibilities and already has water and electricity on the whole property. And to top it off there is even a little tranquil creek running through the property.

Uvita is a small town with two miles of pure white sand beaches with fabulous conditions for swimming, surfing and other water activities. It is part of the Marino Ballena National Park (Whale Marine Park), named after the humpback whales who meet and mate here every winter and spring. Uvita is famous for its popular tourist attraction the “Whale’s Tail”. The Whale’s Tail view is dynamic and constantly changing as the reef majestically rises from the sea during the dropping tide and then sinks back into the ocean as the tide fills in.

Uvita may be small but it has all the amenities anyone could need, such as; supermarkets, pharmacies, local restaurants, banks and gas stations. Uvita is one of the best places in Costa Rica because of its abundance of wildlife and nature. Thanks to the surrounding jungle, rich waters and sweeping mountains on the outskirts of town, this area is teeming with wildlife. Sloths, Scarlet Macaws, Toucans and different species of Monkeys are just a few of the animals you will commonly hear and see in Uvita. It’s a favorite destination for those looking for a quiet getaway in nature as it’s not as developed as the North Pacific. Getting to Uvita is easy and only takes about 3 hours on a freshly paved highway from the International airport of San Jose
